Elements of Roast Profiling is a perfect workshop for roasters looking for a refresher on roast profiles or new roasters just starting out. This four hour workshop includes:
the basic elements of a roast profile
tools for data logging
analysis of profiles
techniques and activities for continued learning
You will also learn several techniques to apply when approaching a new coffee for the first time!
How it Works
After you register, your instructor will send you an email with detailed instructions about getting setup with Zoom Conference and any other platforms for your course and an invitation to join a WhatsApp or Slack group for your cohort of students.
The same email will contain digital downloads of the course handbook and any worksheets, roasting and tasting logs, cupping forms, and other materials.
On the day of your course please be prepared to login to the eLearning session via Zoom 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
At the specified start time our instructor will host the eLearning session. These courses are just like the lectures, discussions, and group assignments you may have experienced at other trainings – just remote.
After the workshop concludes, your instructor will provide you with a number of activities to practice the concepts covered for your continued learning and professional development.
Following the course be sure to take advantage of one on one coaching sessions with your instructor.
