SCA Introduction to coffee

This fun day of coffee education provides students with a comprehensive overview of the entire supply chain of coffee; from the seed to the brewed cup and is the back. This is a SCA Coffee Skills Program course and is the most comprehensive 1-day course one can take in the industry. In Introduction to Coffee students develop a common verbal and sensory vocabulary that forms the backbone of the Roaster, Coffee Sensory Skills, Brewing, Barista Skills, and Green Coffee Programs.

Hi, I am your trainer - valerian hrala

In this course, I will take you on a fun trip following the path of coffee from its origin to your cup. This day is filled with coffee tastings and activities. My promise is that after this course you will know where your coffee comes from, how to differentiate specialty and non-specialty coffee, how it is brewed, and what all the fuss is about.

Hi, my name is Valerian and I have been working with coffee since 2001, when I started Green Plantation Coffee, offering single origin coffee in Slovakia. For more than 15 years I have been working, living and writing about coffee. With the Boot team, I developed the first online coffee education project, coffeecourses.com. You can listen to me and some amazing guests talking coffee business on the Coffeeis.ME  podcast.
