BARISTA LEVEL ONE & EXAM
The SCAA Barista Pathway is designed to accelerate a barista’s training with world-recognized instruction in espresso and espresso drink preparation, equipment operation and maintenance, and customer service. Upon completion, graduates will have demonstrable to enhance their abilities to work in any coffee bar focused on high-level, high-quality, and standards based best practices of the Specialty Coffee Association of America.
According to the SCAA, in a 2014 study of the industry, Barista Pathway graduates have the potential to earn $200k more over their lifetime career than uncertified baristas. Being a professional is more than a paycheck, it’s about what you bring to the job be it advanced skills or new insights into the craft of expertly preparing coffee.
Endorsed by the Barista Guild of America, the Barista Pathway is a powerful step forward as you pursue a meaningful career in specialty coffee.

Foundations & Barista Level One & Exam (3 days): US$1395
Graduates of Barista Level 1 will receive credits for the following SCAA Courses:
• CP101 & CP102 Introduction to Espresso, Parts 1 & 2
• GE103 Introduction to Cupping
• CP151 Introduction to Coffee Brewing & Extraction
• CP190 Level 1 Certificate Test (Written Test & Practical Test)
